Welcome to the Good Morning Mr. President Foundation
We are an independent, non-profit media organization dedicated to fostering collaboration between universities, governments, and the public.
Our mission is to create media platforms and products that enable the free communication and mobilization of knowledge ideas.
We are deeply committed to building a knowledge society in Africa, a society capable of identifying, producing, processing, transforming, disseminating, and using information to build and apply knowledge for human development.
Our Vision
We envision a future where knowledge is the driving force behind Africa's development. We believe that the emergence of a global knowledge-based society is critical for meeting the social and economic needs of nations. Universities, as knowledge producers, play a pivotal role in this vision. We aim to support these institutions and bring their research output into the public domain, contributing to Africa's developmental goals and improving the human condition.
What we do
We provide knowledge for Africa’s developmental agenda.
We serve as a bridge between knowledge creators and end-users. We facilitate interaction and engagement among these groups to enhance knowledge exchange, enabling the use of scientific knowledge in decision-making processes, and strengthening research impact.
We work hand-in-hand with African higher education institutions and other knowledge production groups. Our goal is to bring knowledge into the public domain that addresses continental solutions to health, education, water, climate change, energy, and food security. We believe that by making this knowledge accessible, we can drive policy development and implementation that truly meets the needs of the African people.
Our Approach
Collaboration
We provide a platform for academics, intellectuals, thought leaders, thinkers, and community leaders to produce and promote new and old relevant knowledge for Africa’s sustainable development.
We believe that by working together, we can create a more comprehensive and impactful body of knowledge.
Engage
We create meeting and talking spaces that bring together creators and users of knowledge from across the continent and in the diasporas. These spaces facilitate discussions on projects and initiatives aimed at increasing knowledge production and its application.
We believe that through engagement, we can foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the value of knowledge.
Mobilazation
We mobilize the African people through interviews, conversations, social media campaigns, and storytelling techniques. Our goal is to rally the public behind the knowledge ideas that address Africa’s developmental challenges.
We believe that knowledge is most powerful when it is shared and understood by many.
Making sure that relevant knowledge reaches the decision-makers and the public.
While it is so important for Africa to find ways to make knowledge production more attractive and rewarding; and to support the existence of knowledge production groups, knowledge generators and intellectuals including the academics and researchers. Our role seek to create an audience...as they say... without an audience knowledge remain words on paper.
Our Platforms
KNOWLEDGE DISRUPT PLATFROM
The platform serves as a centre for research communication, mobilization, translation, and brokering. It is designed for researchers who wants to share their research findings to the public and to contribute to policy development.
MOAFRICA PLATFORM
The platform is dedicated to promoting Africa’s knowledge systems, concepts, and explores its complexities, history, and its contemporary present-day issues on knowledge systems. It seeks to affirm and to assert that Africa is a competent contributor in knowledge production for human development and social advancement.
Knowledge for Africa’s developmental agenda
K N O W L E D G E - D I S R U P T is a multimedia online platform created to communicating research and its impact through content, thereby facilitating, and mobilizing research ideas to the mass audience.
At its core, it is a media hub for evidence-based knowledge for policy development; and on face value, it is a public central repository of evidence-based implementable knowledge products.
To be human is to be seen
M O A F R I C A is a multimedia online platform created to promote and to showcase the depth of Africa’s knowledge systems and concepts.
It seeks to facilitate a better understanding of the historical and cultural context and worth of Indigenous Knowledge Systems and to give expression to an African intellectual personality.
The Two Platforms
The two multimedia platforms are our chosen vocation to bring the wants, hopes and fears of the common people to the attention of those who drive the political and economic systems of our society. These platforms are our preferred vehicle to supply the leaders in our society with an honest and candid reflection of the truth about the lives of the common people who should be the beneficiaries of development, democracy and freedom and inheritors of peace, prosperity, and knowledge.
